On November 7th, 2023, voters of Sedgwick, Kansas passed the 1/2 cent sales tax initiative securing the vital funding for the city's portion of the anticipated bonding of the East Side Paving project. The next step is to collect signatures on the petition for street improvements by 51% of the property owners within the benefit district. Residents who would like to see the paving project move forward, may come to City Hall during normal business hours and sign the petition.
