2013 City Wide Clean-Up - Thursday, May 9th & Saturday, May 11th (2 days only)
ALL ITEMS MUST BE CURBSIDE BY 6AM ONLY ONE PASS THROUGH TOWN WILL BE MADE NO CALLBACKS!!
REMINDER: IF YOU CAN'T PICK IT UP BY YOURSELF, NEITHER CAN THE COLLECTORS
PICK-UP SCHEDULE AS FOLLOWS:
Thursday, May 9th - Extra Household trash only
Saturday, May 11th - All items that can be crushed in garbage truck
PLUS: Furniture, mattresses, hot water tanks, appliances, scrap metal, electronics, construction debris, old lawn mowers, stoves, dishwashers, microwave, etc.
- Construction debris must be tied in 3' x 2' bundles.
- Loose items such as tile must be in containers.
- Scrap metal MUST be in throw-away containers.
Refrigerators, freezers and A/C units: must be freon free and tagged by a licensed plumber.
DO NOT PLACE ITEMS LOOSE ON THE GROUND TO BE PICKED UP. ITEMS NOT BEING PICKED UP: *BROKEN GLASS *CAR/TRUCK BODIES OR PARTS *HAZARDOUS MATERIALS-INCLUDING OIL, PAINT CANS, CHEMICAL CONTAINERS *ROCK, CONCRETE OR BRICKS *TREE LIMBS, BRUSH OR YARD DEBRIS.
TIRES: drop off at 320 N. Washington - Saturday, May 11th, 9AM to 11AM.
*Only 4 passenger tires per household. May bring small lawn equipment or bicycle tires. No semi or tractor tires. All tires only, without rims.
SHRED DAY: SATURDAY, MAY 11TH, 9AM-11AM - 320 N. Washington
No Commercial Shredding Allowed.
Beginning in 2013, Trash pickup will be moving to Thursday mornings. Please have your trash/recycling at the curb by 6 AM. The weeks that have holidays, trash will be picked up on Friday morning of that week.
Also, Waste Connections is going to an automated trash pickup. That means that you will be using trash carts that are provided by Waste Connections.
**Blue cards were mailed out with your December water bills. Please choose the size of trash cart your family will need. These cards are due by December 20, 2012. (any trash left outside of carts will not be picked up, so choose your carts accordingly)
