ANNUAL BICYCLE RODEO PICTURES
 Animal Control

All dogs and cats must have a City tag identifying them.  Tags are to be purchased every year between January 1st to January 31st.  If you have recently moved to Sedgwick, or have a new puppy or kitten old enough to receive its rabies vaccination, that is the time to purchase their tags.  To avoid a late charge, purchase your tags and present your proof of rabies vaccination by January 31st of each year.  Cost for tags:

Spayed or Neutered - $5.00, after January 31st - $10.00

Not Spayed or Neutered - $15.00, after January 31st - $20.00

  Curfew & Park Hours

Curfew for anyone under 18 years of age is 11:00 PM, Sunday thru Thursday, and 12:00 AM on Friday and Saturday.  The law is in effect year-round.

Park Hours 6AM to Midnight, 7 days a week.  No one is allowed in the park between the hours of Midnight to 6AM.  This change came about due to the increasing amount of vandalism occurring in the park.

  Bicycle Safety

Bicycles, roller skates, roller blades, sidewalk roller scooters, racer scooters, moped scooters, motorized scoters, skateboards, coasters or similar devices are not to be ridden or operated on the sidewalks, in any parking area or driveway in the Central Business District (downtown area on Commercial from 4th to 6th Street, and 5th Street from Franklin to Washington), from 7:45 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday thru Friday.

All-Terrain Vehicles

Operation of all-terrain vehicles, golf carts and go-carts is prohibited in the corporate city limits of Sedgwick.

Vacation House Checks

Did you know that your police department will keep an eye on your property while you are out of town or on vacation?  It is as simple as dropping by the office to fill out a form to let us know when you will be away.
